We’re thrilled to be collaborating on bringing you The Visibility Shift, a small, in-person workshop designed to move your professional visibility forward internally and on LinkedIn, in a way that feels completely aligned to you and your values.

Together, you’ll look at:
• Identifying what being more visible feels as though it could cost you.
• Recognising how those concerns influence your behaviour, from procrastinating and overthinking to making your ideas safer, blander or quieter.
• Considering what holding back may already be costing you, including opportunities, influence, recognition or the chance to be known for what matters to you.
• Understanding that discomfort around visibility can be a protective response.
• Working out how you want to be seen, rather than simply responding to pressure to “be more visible”.
• Learning a practical process to use when resistance appears, so you can make a more intentional decision about what to do next.
You will leave understanding yourself better, be able to recognise what happens when you hold back, and have a practical way to choose your response going forward.

Together, you’ll look at:
• Understanding how you can use LinkedIn to increase your professional visibility—in a way that feels right for you and aligned with your business and professional goals.
• Understanding the meaning behind professional branding, and why it’s a worthwhile investment of your time and energy.
• Practically working on your own professional brand, so that you can show up as yourself without feeling uncomfortable or awkward.
• Understanding how you can communicate your professional strengths and talents on your LinkedIn profile to gain the recognition and visibility opportunities you deserve.
• Some simple and practical ways to be visible on LinkedIn—alternatives to posting content.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll:
• Understand what’s really making professional visibility difficult for you, and what you believe might be at risk when you put yourself forward.
• Recognise your own holding-back patterns, whether that’s endlessly editing, diluting your ideas, waiting until everything is perfect or being quieter than you intended.
• Decide how you want to be seen professionally and what you want the right people to understand about you and your work.
• Begin translating that clarity into a professional brand and LinkedIn presence that reflects your experience, strengths and direction.
• Identify focused improvements to your LinkedIn profile, rather than feeling you need to change everything.
• Discover practical ways to increase your visibility and build relationships, even if you’re not ready to post regularly.
• Leave with a simple way to respond when resistance appears—and a clearer understanding of the realistic visibility steps you can take next.
• You know greater visibility could support your business, career or next chapter, but something keeps making you hold back.
• You’re an experienced, credible woman in business, but your LinkedIn presence doesn’t communicate the breadth or value of what you do.
• You want LinkedIn to feel credible and like you, but don’t want to become one of those “LinkedIn people” that gives you the ick!
• You overthink, endlessly edit, or remove the interesting bits from your posts or worry about being judged, challenging or self-promotional.
• You’ve watched someone confidently share an idea you’d already had and thought, “Why didn’t I say that?”
• You’re moving into a new role, starting or growing a business or consultancy, or reconsidering how you want to be known professionally.
• You’re tired of hoping your work will “speak for itself” and know you need to take some intentional action.
• You’re prepared to reflect, participate and make practical changes.
• You’re looking for a content strategy, content calendar, algorithm masterclass or formula for generating quick leads.
• LinkedIn already works effectively for you and you feel comfortable with your current level of professional visibility.
• You want someone else to rewrite your profile without your involvement.
• You want a passive presentation rather than a reflective and practical workshop.

Cheryl Thornton is a Coach and Facilitator specialising in self-trust and change. Drawing on more than 20 years’ experience supporting founders, CEOs and leaders, she helps capable women understand what may be quietly holding them back from being seen and heard. Cheryl knows that visibility isn’t simply about knowing what to say: fear of judgement, deeply held assumptions and the pressure to get it right can all influence how confidently we put ourselves forward. She has helped hundreds of people get to the heart of what’s really going on, question the stories keeping them small or silent, and make changes grounded in greater self-trust.
Her philosophy is simple: Trust yourself. Do it your way.
“Cheryl helped me see that many of my blockers were self-created. With a better awareness of them and why they are there, I’ve found a way to be much more effective, less stressed and happier. Cheryl’s patient and non-judgemental approach allowed me to open up and reflect, but she didn’t give me a free pass to avoid the fundamental issues. She challenged my thinking with evidence and set exercises that helped me understand what motivates and drives my behaviour.”

Beth provided clear, practical insights that helped our comms team better understand how to focus our time and effort for maximum impact. The session was well-structured, engaging and immediately useful, giving us renewed confidence and direction in our LinkedIn strategy. Highly recommended.”

Yes. Professional visibility matters whether you run your own business or work within someone else’s. The workshop will help you understand what may be holding you back from being seen and heard, clarify how you want to be known professionally, and strengthen how you communicate your experience and value on LinkedIn.
You’ll apply the activities to your own role, career direction and ambitions, so you don’t need to be a business owner to benefit.
We’re intentionally keeping the group small, with up to 10 participants. This gives everyone room to reflect, ask questions and receive individual support without it feeling like a large networking event.
We’ll create a warm, practical space where you can participate at your own pace, you won’t be expected to perform or have all the answers.
No. You don’t need to be posting regularly or feel confident using LinkedIn before you attend.
The workshop is designed to meet you where you are. You’ll identify focused improvements to your profile, explore ways to communicate your experience and strengths, and discover practical ways to increase your visibility that don’t depend on constantly creating content.
Your booking secures one of a limited number of places and allows us to commit to the venue, catering and preparation required to deliver the workshop.
If you cancel more than four weeks before the workshop, we will refund 50% of your payment. The remaining 50% is non-refundable.
Cancellations received on or after Monday 21 September 2026 are non-refundable.
You may transfer your place to another person at no additional cost, provided you notify [email protected] by Monday 12 October 2026. We’ll need the new attendee’s name, email address and any dietary or accessibility requirements.
This policy applies when you choose to cancel and does not affect your statutory rights.
If we cancel the workshop, you will receive a full refund.
If we need to move the workshop to another date, your booking will transfer automatically. If you cannot attend the new date, you will be able to request a full refund.
You’ll receive an email confirming your place. Closer to the workshop, we’ll send you everything you need for the day, including arrival information, what to bring and details about lunch and refreshments.
We’ll also ask about any dietary or accessibility requirements so that we can make the day as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
Join us for a small, practical workshop that brings together the internal and practical sides of professional visibility. You’ll leave with greater clarity, a stronger sense of how you want to be seen and realistic next steps you can take.
Places are limited to 10 participants.
